Here are photos from camp 1-3 (6100m to 7100m) – after camp 2, was when I left dad.

Walking to camp 2!
Self care afternoon in Camp 2 6500m – we got there at about 9am to beat the heat so we had there whole day to rest
Leaving camp 2 to go to camp 3 (dad turned around on this day) – we were carrying oxygen to use later
Where dad turned around – we started using oxygen
On the Lhotse face!! It was VERY steep
With Evan, one of my climbing besties!! We were on Manaslu, Ama Dablam and now Everest with him!!! very excited to have made it to camp 3!
At camp 3 7100mwith Dani!! One of the nicest guys ever, from Costa Rica!
Had a little nap at camp 3 – tried to drink lots of water but I didn’t want to go pee because there were sooooo many people watching but eventually I gave up on privacy
waiting for dinner to “cook” (the blue bag in the corner) as I drink tea and watch the sunset

You can only just see camp 2 on the right hand side. It is a “flatter” looking, big rocky patch

  3. Great photos! Love the self care!! I didn’t think to pack face masks! And certainly didn’t have pretty nails!

    The more I read about other climbers’ experiences this season, the more amazed I am by you. Enjoy being home. I hope Dad is all better.
