Who Are We?

We are Paul, Fiona, Bianca and Benjamin Adler.

This website was inspired because many years ago, we (Paul and Fiona) undertook some big mountaineering challenges – and we blogged about them as we went. We’ve recently consolidated these separate blogs so that they’re all on this website (as a record of those times for us!).

We’re now lucky to have our two gorgeous children – Bianca and Benjamin – and live a relatively normal life. A couple of years ago, we all moved from Australia to France and we’re enjoying learning a new language and exploring this beautiful area. (If you’re coming over, here’s some things to do in Annecy.)

Over the years, we’ve started and run several different business ventures – our current projects are explained here too.

Our Current Projects

Power Diary

Paul and his brother Damien, run Power Diary – an online appointment and client management system. It’s currently used by thousands of businesses in a range of industries including psychologists, gyms, personal trainers, allied health providers, day-spas, and the hair and beauty industry.

Living in France

In 2015, we moved our family over to France to experience a new place and a new way of living. It had been a rough plan of ours to move to Europe when our kids were in the primary school years, and once I (Fiona) sold the business I’d been working on, we realised we had the perfect opportunity to go.

Mountaineering

Paul and Fiona began climbing when we were 19 and took various trips to tackle some big mountains. We documented our last 3 summits with daily blogs - which you can access below. We've also included a gallery with our best photos from Everest...
